After a full day of nannying, which means a day filled with reading, playing salon, and going to Kumon. Kumon, an hour of waiting for Manali to finish her test. When at Kumon I found this adorable tea shop called Songbird, where I got ginger tea with tangerine lavender honey, as I read my new book "Where'd you go Bernadette" by Maria Semple. I went to Sephora and talked to a girl who reminded me so much of Adrienne Bailon, so naturally I was obsessed with her. I told her to hook me up with some hot lipstick and I loved her but hated her at the same time because she introduced me to soo many lipsticks I was obssessed with. But my favorite two I came across were a lipstick by Givenchy Le Rouge, in the color 205 Fuchsia Irresistible. It was the most baller lipstick because it had a leather cover. The other obsession of the day was a Bite Beauty in Corvina, a bright coral pink.

Went to Grosse Pointe today to visit my sister Kathleen, so happy to see this newlywed! We walked to the pool and grabbed an iced tea from starbux on the way. After we got back we headed to somerset because it has been way too long and needed to get a shopping fix in. Found great dishes from Anthro for kashi or puffins for only $3.95! Came home to Jacob who made us dinner (he's great) then headed to Trader Joe's before I left. Kathleen, like me is allergic to dairy and soy (her allergies are far more severe) but introduced me to honey mints, in one word: amazing. Dark, bitter but rich chocolate on the outside and whipped honey with peppermint oil on the inside. 3 ingredients so you know exactly what is in it. Here's the thing, Kathleen recently got me hooked on this 'Mexican dark chocolate' from Trader Joe's that the second after introducing me to I went to buy and it was discontinued. Lovely honey mints please stay in TJ for my newest addiction. If you really want to go cray here's how. Freeze chocolate almond milk in ice cub trays, add a couple honey mints, a dash of unsweetened vanilla almond milk, blend. Boom.
